Musician Tron Syversen has created a stunning series of albums that have led him to the forefront of the new age music field. His sound is characterized by his piano and keyboards backed by wordless vocalizing and occasionally other top classically-trained musicians on acoustic stringed instruments, woodwinds or horns. This acclaimed series continues with his PIANO MEDITATIONS recording.
Syversen, who hails from Norway, makes music that is always beautiful and enjoyable to listen to, but also is perfect for relaxing or meditative moments. The music envelopes you in a floating bubble of gentleness that is hauntingly-lovely and stress-reducing at the same time. His piano improvisations are wondrous, and he is ably assisted by special-guest singer Helen Lorentzen, who adds just the right floating, ethereal, vocal sounds to keep the music warm, human and primal. The recording, which has four long tunes, also features some orchestral instruments played by actual musicians on the final track.
